Glad You’re Here

Hi, I’m Eric! My love of video storytelling began when I was just a kid making funny videos with my cousins using my dad’s camcorder. I was intrigued by how video could evoke emotions and capture the unexpected moments people would watch over and over.

 

I love getting to play an integral part in how a company expresses its brand, a bride and groom sharing their first look, and gathering people across oceans together through the ingenuity of a live stream experience.

 

I started Aptum Media in September 2021, so I could share my craft with others and build a business. I worked full-time as a Video Specialist at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI while filming weddings, commercial work, and special events on the side. In 2024, I went all in – expanding my client and videography networks and launching the Aptum Media brand.

When I’m not working on videos, you can find me:

  • playing electric guitar

  • enjoying Wisconsin summers on the lake

  • driving on curvy back roads in my little hatchback
